Very good ! Is my best synth !

This is a very nice synth but I rated it only 4 Stars because I Miss a project Management and more drum options.

The best synth app out there!

I have only one complaint, which would be a save/record option/output. Unless this option is already available and I havent found it yet. Other than that, amazing job.

This is an impressive little synth, and can go toe to toe with desktop plugins costing drastically more. Highly flexible and versatile, youll be able to capture the sound youre looking for. It runs a little slow on the 2G, but no crashes or hangs. With no usable export functions though its a toy not a tool, but at that price, how can one complain?

Its good,dont get me wrong,its still a 5* but,there can be a few improvements. 1:be able to import your finished songs directly to your iTunes library. 2:when you accidently press the home button,your melody/song that you were working on should still be there when you re open the app or it will ask if you want to re open it so you dont have to start from scratch again and get pissed off. 3:more popular/normal synth sounds that are in other synth apps like saw synth or lead synth. Overall,this is a good app,the best synth app out there,I enjoy using it and keep the updates coming.

Incomprehensible sound range. Period. If you dont buy this and you are into synths you may just be nuts.

Amazing synth, high quality stuff. Only one suggestion, a way to get the synth out of monophonic mode to be able to play more than one note at the same time :) that would be awesome

For the 2 bucks this app costs, its absolutely worth it. Its the first reasonably priced music making app that Ive been able to actually create things beyond just time-killing novelty--which gets old after two or three uses. Its a bit limited, but in a good way. Its a good basic synth, and the looping capabilities allow you to build ideas.

Best 2 bucks Spent!!!

I love it. Sounds very good, very classic sounding. The interface is easy to understand and gives you pretty much every function you need. Only suggestion would be in the loop recorder: ability to quantize your notes, ability to undo notes and add silences.

This is a very sexy looking synth! The sounds it can make are very interesting and musical. The interface is well done. The look of the thing is really the nicest of any synth app so far. Its great fun and gives you new inspiration for song ideas, and thats exactly what you want from a music app! So thumbs up on this one. Its amazing. This coming from a long time vintage synth owner and user, who has reluctantly started to embrace software synths, its the apps on the iPad and iPhone and iPod Touch that finally have me hooked -- Alex Franco

IMO yes. My favorite iOS mono synth. As good sounding as any vintage hardware synth, or plug in. Very cool formant synth. Improvements would be; more waveshaping options, waveshaping within the feedback loop, more control over the formant synthesis.

Akai synthstation25 : grandi!!!!!

Ive pretty much ditched all of the iPhone apps from my iPad, its just too annoying. This app is another matter. Argon is a fantastic sounding synth. Ive owned a DX since it came out, been playing with Reaktor since version 2 and been a fervent knob twiddler since analogs 2nd coming. Having a synth this powerful and good sounding in the palm of my hand FOR TWO BUCKS!! is just incredible.

I wished Xenon would have been an update to this instead of being a separate app. Argon sounds very good though. Please make it polyphonic, then the sampler would be much more effective !!
