This is a very nice synth but I rated it only 4 Stars because I Miss a project Management and more drum options.
I have only one complaint, which would be a save/record option/output.
Unless this option is already available and I havent found it yet. Other than that, amazing job.
This is an impressive little synth, and can go toe to toe with desktop plugins costing drastically more. Highly flexible and versatile, youll be able to capture the sound youre looking for. It runs a little slow on the 2G, but no crashes or hangs. With no usable export functions though its a toy not a tool, but at that price, how can one complain?
Its good,dont get me wrong,its still a 5* but,there can be a few improvements.
1:be able to import your finished songs directly to your iTunes library.
2:when you accidently press the home button,your melody/song that you were working on should still be there when you re open the app or it will ask if you want to re open it so you dont have to start from scratch again and get pissed off.
3:more popular/normal synth sounds that are in other synth apps like saw synth or lead synth.
Overall,this is a good app,the best synth app out there,I enjoy using it and keep the updates coming.
MAD PROPS TO THE DEVELOPERS OF ARGON - This app rocks - easily the best 2 dollars I have ever spent - rockin out on the bus with frankenstien has never been this fun ;)
Incomprehensible sound range. Period. If you dont buy this and you are into synths you may just be nuts.
Some bad moments
I wished Xenon would have been an update to this instead of being a separate app. Argon sounds very good though. Please make it polyphonic, then the sampler would be much more effective !!
Yes, slightly miffed xenon is not an upgrade of this. Now I have to buy again.
I have an iPhone 4 ios 4.2.1 and it does not work. There is no sound and the retina display is not supported as seen by the ugly pixelation. Needs update asap. Also I think it needs polyphony to play chords
I liked the older version when you could play it while listening to music on your idevice.
iPhone 5 screen? New iPod touch? Cmon people update it with audiobus...
Crashes when I try and save a user bank. This makes it impossible to save any of my custom patches.
